* Our client seeks a dynamic Hardware Design Engineer to act as a technical specialist for key development projects & implement our software & hardware solutions in a fast paced & demanding hands-on environment
* Working within their Hardware Design & Development Team, you will play an important part in delivering the customer-requirement driven projects that will support major contracts & underpin future business

EXPERIENCE SOUGHT:
- Significant relevant industrial exp
- Low power analogue & digital circuit design for portable devices
- Designing with high performance DSP & RISC processors
- VHDL for FPGA (implementing DSP)
- Digital modulation techniques
- Participating in fast-paced projects
- Proven ability to evaluate & act upon customer generated requests & information
- Able to identify opportunities to develop ideas/products
- Electronic circuit design - baseband emphasis
- Full product development & integration
- C, Assembler, VHDL
- Familiarity with CAD (CadStar)

TASKS:
* Electronic circuit design - Digital & analogue baseband
* Team design reviews
* PCB layout, modification & prototype construction
* Schematic & BOM creation
* Full product development/integration
* Open-ended design projects based on customer input
* Ensure coherent/professional communication with peer groups
* Disseminate technical information/inputs to Team Leader/Development Manager
* Support existing products/propose options for new product development
