PROJECT MANAGERS / SOMERSET / £30-£36K
- 2 dynamic TECHNICAL PROJECT MANAGERS are sought to plan, co-ordinate & provide technical support on key projects for OEM customers implementing our client’s software & hardware design solutions in a fast paced & demanding hands-on environment
- Exciting entrepreneurial high-tech electronics company specialising in Wireless Digital Technology – Private Mobile Radio solutions. As leaders in their field with several blue chip customers. Solutions are being rapidly adopted by the market; recent growth resulting from implementation of latest technology necessitates the expansion of current resources
- Wireless electronic circuit design, DSP or RF exp
- Successful track record delivering fast paced projects in high technology sector (semiconductors, telecommunications equipment, software, consumer or industrial electronics, control or security)
- Project management exp in medium sized, rapid-growth electronics company (£10M plus sales), participating in fast-paced projects
- Able to evaluate/act on customer generated requests/information & business info; trends, market opportunities, technology issues
- Lead projects with people-focused management approach
ROLE:
* Report to Programme Manager; play an important part in delivering customer-requirement driven projects supporting major contracts/underpinning future business
* Reference point for all technical/delivery aspects for assigned projects
* Plan, manage/co-ordinate resources for successful execution of internal/external (customer-driven) projects
* Work in a matrix with New Product Development team (Hardware/Software engineering, supply-chain) to ensure that new project are delivered in line with the needs/wants of customers, while maintaining profitability
* Regular communication/progress information flow to the rest of the management team
